Bassem Sawan Head of Technology and Automotive, Google MENA

Bassem joined Google in 2015 and is currently the Head of Technology and Automotive for Google MENA.

Bassem started his career at Procter & Gamble where he spent four years in various brand management roles across the MENA region. From 2012 to 2015, he was a Case Team Leader at Bain & Company, where he worked on numerous strategy, organization design, and performance improvement projects across the FMCG, retail, energy, and public sectors.

Bassem holds a Bachelor of Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Beirut, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
