What You Can Do Through the Ministry of Commerce (MoC)
Name Reservation Process
- Log in to the Ministry of Commerce (MoC) portal.
- Select “Reserve Name for Foreign Entity.”
- Upload the required documents, including the Power of Attorney (PoA), parent company trade license, ID of the authorized representative under the PoA, name reservation form, and MISA license.
- Submit the application for review.
- Once approved, the name is officially reserved. Be sure to save the name reservation number, as it will be required for subsequent steps, including the AoA process.
- After approval, the MISA license must be updated to reflect the newly reserved Saudi entity name.

For the AoA, Saudi regulations require specific information to be formalized through the Ministry of Commerce (MoC) and the Saudi Business Center. These include:
- MISA license number
- Registered company address
- General Manager (GM) details
- Official registered company name
- Company capital
- Powers granted to the General Manager
