You can have up to 6 business activities included in your DMCC license at no additional cost, allowing your business a range of operations. It also gives you the flexibility to add more activities for an additional fee during the incorporation phase or later on as your business develops
Yes, depending on the type of business that you are conducting. If you provide services to clients in a UAE freezone or to clients established in the mainland as an LLC, this can be executed through the DMCC company
If you’re working with companies internationally, this can also be done through the DMCC company.
If, however, you wish to trade (i.e. sell physical goods to a mainland company) then you will need to find a distributor with the appropriate license or set up a subsidiary in the mainland

Yes, when establishing a company and getting a company license in the UAE, an office lease agreement is a necessity as this is the legal business address that will be tied to your license. You are required to have a lease that is continuously active throughout the whole period that your business license in Dubai is valid. When it comes to the business setup cost, the application, registration, and first-year license cost in DMCC is AED 1905 for AstroLabs members. In addition to the license cost, you are required to have a legal business address for your entity. Any company registered in the Mainland, must comply with the local Emiratisation laws, which currently applies to Companies with 20 to 49 employees. These companies will be required to hit a quota, hiring at least one UAE citizen in 2024 and another by 2025.
The requirement applies to privately-owned companies across 14 sectors including real estate, education, construction and health care. Previously, only firms with 50 or more employees needed to meet targets on hiring UAE citizens.
